Last updated: January 16, 2026
VNDUSDTP2P (“VNDUSDTP2P,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a peer-to-peer marketplace for exchanging USDT and Vietnamese Dong (“Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used, shared, and protected.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: full name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Identity verification (KYC) data: legal name, date of birth, nationality, residential address, government ID type and number, and photographs of your ID and a selfie taken for liveness verification.
- Transaction data: trade amounts, counterparties, payment methods used, wallet addresses, bank account details used for settlement, and order/dispute history.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log-in timestamps, and general usage analytics.
- Communications: messages exchanged with counterparties through in-trade chat, and correspondence with our support team.
2. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To verify your identity and comply with know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations.
- To process, monitor, and secure trades placed on the platform.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and other prohibited activity.
- To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- To communicate service updates, security notices, and (where you have opted in) product updates.
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, and lawful requests from public authorities.
3. Legal basis for processing
Depending on your jurisdiction, we process your information on the basis of: performance of a contract with you (providing the Services you request), compliance with a legal obligation (KYC/AML and financial record-keeping requirements), our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement), and, where required, your consent.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Identity verification and fraud-prevention service providers, solely to confirm your identity and screen for prohibited activity.
- Payment processors and banking partners, to the extent necessary to complete a transaction you have initiated.
- Regulators, law enforcement, or courts, where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit) under confidentiality obligations.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
Certain transaction details (such as a counterparty's display name, completion rate, and payment method) are visible to the other party in a trade by the nature of a peer-to-peer exchange.
5. Data retention
We retain account and KYC information for as long as your account is active and for a minimum period thereafter as required by applicable financial record-keeping and AML regulations (typically 7 years from the date of the last transaction). We retain other information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
6. Data security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, restricted access to identity documents, and regular review of access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. Because we are required to retain KYC and transaction records for regulatory purposes, deletion requests may be limited while your account is active or during the mandatory retention period. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect the functionality of the Services.
9. International data transfers
Your information may be processed in a country other than the one in which you reside. Where this occurs, we take steps intended to ensure your information continues to receive an adequate level of protection, consistent with applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have done so, we will take steps to delete it.
11. Contact us

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
